Okana Skincare NZ expanded beyond skincare with the launch of their first-ever haircare range, introducing a shampoo and conditioner designed to sit seamlessly alongside their existing products. Okana needed to expand into haircare without losing the brand recognition they’d built in skincare.

The challenge was creating packaging that felt unmistakably Okana, while still giving the haircare range its own identity. The new products needed to belong to the family, but not blend into it.

To achieve this, we developed a set of new, unique motifs and shapes, drawing on Okana’s established visual language while pushing it in a fresh direction. We also introduced two new colours to the range, adding contrast and distinction without disrupting brand cohesion.

The result is a haircare range that feels considered, confident, and aligned with Okana’s brand: familiar at a glance, yet clearly something new.
