Huggable Hearts

Pattern Design

Huggable Hearts is a charity doing deeply meaningful work: creating weighted heart toys that represent the weight of a baby lost through premature passing. These items are incredibly precious, both emotionally and symbolically, and needed to be wrapped in a way that felt just as considered and gentle as the purpose behind them.

The goal of this project was to create a custom pattern design that could be used on tissue paper for wrapping these hearts.

The existing brand elements became the foundation of the design with the heart-shaped logo, the butterfly and owl, illustrated and woven in to create a sense of care and continuity.

The final pattern is meaningful and versatile, designed to gently hold these precious items while also strengthening Huggable Hearts’ visual identity across both physical and digital spaces.
